What’s On Your Leap List?

A Leap Without Limits List” (“Leap List” for short) can dramatically increase your level of aliveness, vitality, happiness and overall well-being.  A Leap List (a hand-written description of your heart’s desires)Oval heart with wings is designed to fuel and energize your business and life.   As an important side note, the words “without limits” play a huge role in achieving accelerated results by energetically setting the intent to add more ease and grace along the way.

Years ago, when first introduced to the concept of putting my heart’s desires onto paper, a lightening bolt AH-HA moment jolted me with a mind-opening revelation.  I lacked “dreams” and compelling visions of places I wanted to visit, things I wanted to do, and who I really wanted to be.  In other words, I was merely living and dutifully working for others — my family, employer – helping them be their best without having bigger dreams for myself.  (Sound familiar?) This instant awareness changed the course of my life.

Within minutes of the AH-HA moment I created my first list.  A cascade of ideas – desires that were waiting to spring forth – came pouring from my head through my hand and onto paper.  Initially, I recall listing 16 heart’s desires.

To illustrate the power of what’s possible when you write down your heart’s desires and take action, I’m sharing a few personal Leap List rapid results.Leap List Logo

A profound Leap List experience happened within a month of creating my list.  At the time, I was intrigued with film production and desired a behind the scenes look at the industry. Leap List magic set into motion extraordinary opportunities . . . much to my surprise, while co-facilitating a Soul Recognition workshop in Rhode Island; I learned that one of the participants (let’s call him “Mr. Hollywood”) was connected to Sony Picture Studios.

Several days into the workshop, Mr. Hollywood decides to bring the Soul Recognition work to sunny California and I was invited as a co-facilitator.  Although the workshop never took place (cancelled at the last minute), I was blessed with a two week California vacation that I will always remember.  Many wonderful adventures took place on this trip including a full day behind the scenes personal tour of Sony Picture Studios – complete with golf cart.  It even gets better!

During my studio visit, the romantic comedy film “Something’s Gotta Give” starring Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton was in production.  Although I missed meeting Jack Nicholson, I did say “hello” to actress, Diane Keaton.  If you remember the film, you’ll recall most scenes take place in the “Hamptons.”  A highlight of my VIP tour was a walk through the amazing “Hampton Beach House” where all the interior scenes were filmed.  Talk about experiencing THE ULTIMATE beach house!

My enthusiasm for achieving rapid success skyrocketed after California and I was ready for the next leap.

Exploring new countries has always fascinated me and that’s why 8 of my original Leap List items were travel related.  The outcome was truly AWE-inspiring  . . . within 16 months of creating the list – I had the vacation time and financial resources to visit and explore most of the places on my Leap List.  Here’s the astonishing part:  it happened without much “doing” on my part, other than being excited, open to possibilities and purchasing a few DK Eyewitness Travel Guides.

Four AWESOME international vacations!  MykonosIt was pure bliss visiting Italy twice, Austria, Ireland, Turkey, Greece and several Greek Islands on an Aegean Cruise. That’s me on Mykonos.

What I Learned . . .

The energy around a fully embraced Leap List is . . . magnetic and electric. It seems to light you up from the inside and by doing so – it attracts and draws to you, your heart’s desire.

If you’re interested in experiencing more aliveness, vitality, happiness and overall well-being in your life, then join me in a challenge.  I’m inviting you – actually, highly encouraging you to create your own Leap List to experience more everyday life magic!

5 Simple Steps to Create YOUR Leap Without Limits List

  1. What you need  . . . Leap List Tools

* A few colored pencils or pens
(Pilot G2® and Uni-ball® retractable multi-colored gel pens are my favorites), plus

* An unlined 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper (plain or colored).
Fold the paper in half and then fold it in half again. The open sheet of paper has 8 boxes on each side.

  1. Relax

To become fully present and relaxed, place your attention on your breath. Slowly inhale and fully exhale at least three times to come into the moment.  This will assist your creative nature to express itself.

  1. Putting Pen to Paper

Write down your “Heart’s Desires” in the boxes. (If you have more than 8 Leap List items flip the paper over.)
If you need support in accessing your “dreams,” use these prompts to prime your heart’s desires . . .

“I’ve always wanted to  _________”

“Whenever I get inspired about _____________, I see myself ___________.”
“ It would be wonderful if _____________.”

“I’d love to __________.”

Remember to invoke the senses while creating your list. (Note:  High vibe feelings like excitement, enthusiasm, and joy fast-track results.)  Picture each desire as if it’s already here.

  1. Expect Success and Let Go

It may sound counter-intuitive to become unattached to the outcome, yet that’s exactly what’s needed to draw the Leap List items closer to you.  Be open to the surprise … allow your heart’s desires to show-up naturally. If they’re meant to be – the people, resources and timing always comes together “perfectly.

Expect success and place your treasured list in a special spot.  Once a year (around year-end or the 4th of July) pull out your Leap List to see how far you’ve leaped.

  2. Do Take Inspired Action

Tune-in to your inner guidance regularly.  You’ll receive promptings (even ask for prompting ahead of time) to accelerate results.  When an opportunity presents itself, be available to take inspired action.

I guarantee that if you fully participate in the “Leap (Without Limits) List” Leap Listchallenge, you’ll automatically feel more alive AND you’ll experience things you never imagined could come true.  (The image on the right is my latest Leap Without Limits List.)

Energize your enthusiasm and watch yourself, amaze yourself!
